FutureCare of NC, Inc.

FutureCare is a private, not-for-profit foundation that serves as the conduit for the assessment and dissemination of state-of-the-art technologies and best practices related to medical/nursing care, as well as, those strategies for enhancing the residential life experience of persons residing in skilled nursing facilities.

Participation

FutureCareNC invites the participation of all segments of the NC nursing home industry as participants, as well as residents and their families and key members of other stakeholder and advocacy groups who share a commitment to the improvement of long-term care for the people of this state.  FurtureCareNC will seek the collaboration and financial support of private philanthropic foundations, private donors and corporate contributors, who share an interest in the enhancement of the quality of long-term care services and programs in our state, and, in partnership with these funding sources, FutureCareNC will seek to disseminate the best and most effective technologies and care management strategies throughout the industry, both in North Carolina and in other states.

Governance

FutureCareNC is governed by a Board of Directors representing the nursing home industry, academic long-term care specialists and public policy analysts, and private citizens with an interest in the improvement of long-term care in our state.
